A seed of an idea started to germinate in 2006 as Alaster Anderson Gardens Ltd started to build more and more bespoke kitchen garden for their clients. During this time he aquired a plot of land behind the office, and while digging this the seed of an idea for Living Leaves started to germinate. Alaster was keen to grow organic vegetables for his family which he did in the newly built kitchen garden. As a complete novice himself, he realised that with easy-to-understand advice, a little bit of help and the right tools anyone could grow vegetables. Living Leaves was born.
The kitchen garden became the hub of Living Leaves as Alaster trialled, tested and tasted everything. Soon the whole family were involved; mum, dad, wife and baby daughter. Even the staff at Alaster Anderson Gardens Ltd were caught up in research and development - well that's what they told him when they were tucking in to plates of fresh organic vegetables!
The garden is still where we trial all our products and plants so that everything we sell is the very best. We're extremely proud of the garden and want to share it with you.
